We brought our to campus for a college glove day with , the NCAA Division II Purple Knights of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Bridgeport plays in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), and it's a program we've been working with for a few seasons now.
What we brought
We set up a full display of our pro-grade gloves, made from Japanese kip leather, next to our wood bats and training bats. Players and coaches got hands-on with the gear and saw what Tater is about as a brand.
What the partnership means
When we partner with a college program, the players get discounted pricing on our gloves. That puts pro-level gear in their hands at a price that works for college athletes. The deal also covers discounted wood bats for summer ball.
Why we do glove days
These days are about more than product. We love showing up for programs and helping in whatever way they need, whether that's gear, support or just being there. Partnerships like this build real relationships with a program and its players. They get top-tier equipment, and we get to grow alongside a great team.
Another day, another college: Bridgeport follows our , where we kicked off a new glove partnership with the Falcons.
It was a great day for the University of Bridgeport and for Tater.
