Great little training bat. The 26” Tater is perfect for working on barrel control and quick hands. It forces you to stay compact and clean up your swing. We’ve seen a big difference in contact and staying inside the ball. Definitely worth adding to the bag.

I started coaching Little League softball teams ten or so years ago and try to find routines and/or tools that help players implement technique being taught. Hitting the outside pitch, in particular the low and outside pitch, requires a proper hinge in order to make solid contact. I can say “hinge” 1,000x and the verbal cue may or may not work. Incorporating the two-hand short bat trainer into our soft toss routine gets the hitter into a better position to make solid contact without verbal cues or demonstration.
