Tater® SST Underload Training Bat — Barrel Whip Trainer
products.product.pickup_availability.unavailable
The Tater® SST is an underload training bat. It's 5 to 6 ounces lighter than your game bat. Built to maximize barrel whip, sharpen barrel control, and isolate the sweet spot. Players have no choice but to make the right adjustments. Hand-built in the USA.
The SST underload training bat
The SST is a unique training bat that works multiple facets of the swing. It's perfect for underload training. Each trainer is built 5 to 6 ounces lighter than your game bat length. It features a skinny handle with a long neck. The neck transitions quickly to a short-length barrel.
The SST lets players feel maximum barrel whip while maintaining a sharp focus on barrel control.
When to use the SST
The SST works as a workout finisher or a standalone speed session. Use it on the tee. Use it in front toss. Use it in overhand batting practice. The shorter, lighter design makes it easy to fit into any program.
One of the huge benefits of the SST is that it isolates the sweet spot of the barrel. Players have no option but to make the adjustments needed to square the ball up. The feedback is immediate.
Pair it with the overload trainer
The SST is the lighter side of the overload underload training methodology. Pair it with the heavier G Force Split Grip® Overload Trainer for the complete program. Or buy both together in the Overload & Underload Training Pack.
