Wood Bat Questions

Feel free to use our Bat Recommendation Form which will suggest the best wood bat to order based on your answers. Wood bats don't just come in different materials; they also come in various turns or shape of the wood bat.

  • Limit the use of your game bat. Save the wear and tear for when it matters: in the game. Highly recommended to have two identical wood bats in terms of model in length: one for practice and one for games - this way you always have a backup.
  • Do not practice with batting cage dimpled balls. These balls can have damaging effects on your baseball bat.
  • Limit the number of teammates that use the same bat. Some players are accustomed to different styles and weights of the bat, increasing the likelihood of a miss-hit using your bat.
  • Do not use your baseball bat to knock the dirt off of your cleats. This can damage the bat.

The Ink Dot is the stamp of the highest quality wood bat. Bats that feature the Ink Dot signify that they are in the top 3 percent of wood from the harvest and they satisfy the strict slope of grain requirements by Major League Baseball. Indicating that your bat is big league quality and approved.

Custom bats take approximately 2-3 weeks to manufacture. If you need a bat sooner - order from our Stock Inventory.

Training Bat Questions

Below is an example training program you can implement to get started:

Overload: 10 Swings off the Tee

Underload: 10 Swings off the Tee

Normal Bat: 10 Swings off the Tee

Repeat the set 3x.

Ideally, tee work, front toss and soft toss are all great ways to use the bats. The G Force can also be used on machine work.
